“We want to serve everyone”, says Tim Cook, CEO of Apple.

Ever since iPhone X has come out on November 3rd of 2017, it has gained millions of buyers while facing a huge backlash for having no headphone jack, no home button, no fingerprint scanner and the biggest of them all, for being too expensive. Starting at $999, it is obviously not for everyone. But, Apple held an event on the 13th of September, 2018 and surprised everyone with 3 new versions of the iPhone X:  iPhone Xs, iPhone Xr, and iPhone XS Max. In that following event, Tim Cook stated, “We want to serve everyone. We understand that there is a wide range of what customers are looking for and a wide range of prices that people will pay”. This got people very excited.

So, what’s so special about these new iPhones?

While most of the features are still the same, the differences appear to be the battery capacity along with the pixel density and display size of each of these new models. However, the biggest of the differences appears to be the price of each of those iPhones. Apple has also said that it will be available in multiple colors, something like the iPhone 5C. Apple has listed the following iPhones for the following price:

iPhone Xr : $747

iPhone Xs : $999

iPhone Xs Max : $1099
Considering the new features and the price of these iPhones, do you think Apple has now made the new iPhone for ‘everyone’?

  1. Nice Post! I think Apple is doing a great job of trying to sell products to their customers, however, the price is not for everyone. I feel like if Apple made a model like the Iphone SE, then it would serve for everyone. But I feel like in Apple’s best interest, they would think making a phone that is more than 700 dollars makes more sense to make more profit because customers just love Apple that much.
